Stephen C. Jacobs, MD is Professor & Chairman of Urology at the University
of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He serves as a
consultant urologist for the Baltimore U.S. Veterans Administration
Medical Center.
Dr. Jacobs completed his urology training at the Harvard
Program in Urology. He directs the Urology Residency at the University of
Maryland. His research centers on diseases of the prostate, both BPH and
prostate cancer. He also is a pioneer in the development of laparoscopic
surgery in urology.
