Kevin T. McVary, M.D. graduated with his medical degree from the University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois in 1983. Upon completion of his degree, Dr. McVary entered Northwestern University Medical School's Urology Residency Program. During his internship/residency, Dr. McVary
was awarded several first place honors for his research efforts in the area of urinary obstruction. He joined the faculty and staff at Northwestern in 1989. Equally involved in the Veteran's Administration (V.A.), Dr. McVary is also an attending physician, Chief of Urology, and Di
rector of Sexual Dysfunction at the V.A.
Lakeside Medical Center and the V.A. Crown Point Ambulatory Care Center in
Chicago.
At Northwestern, he is currently the Director of Sexual Dysfunction and Consultant for the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. Dr. McVary is a member of the American Urological Association, the American Medical Association and the American College of Surgeons/Associate Fellow Group.
His research involvement includes topics ranging from sexual dysfunction to microwave therapy for prostate disease.
